COUNCIL FAILING ON FLY TIPPING Spring 2006
Council failing on fly tipping - Terry O'Neill

The Wastebusters Team was set up by Plaid Cymru as a rapid response service to tackle the problem of fly-tipping in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Now the Labour controlled council are letting things slip and leaving rubbish to pile up for months on end.

We rang the Wastebusters 'hotline' on 13th of February to report many months of dumping along Graig Ddu in Dinas. We were told a team would be sent there within two days to clear things up. The photograph alongside was taken on the 9th of March over three weeks later.

The Labour council advertise their 'hotline' in their Outlook newspaper. It's 01443 494847, but don't hold your breath waiting.
